3rd International TOMO Cup 2010

Tomo Sports are inviting you and your team for the "3rd International TOMO Cup 2010" recreational ice hockey tournament in Riga/Latvia from 15th to 17th of July, 2010.

This friendly challenge gives the opportunity for a lot of different hockey players to meet, confront different ice hockey cultures and establish friendly relationship.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Date/Time: Wednesday 14th July 2010 drawing teams in groups
Thursday 15th July 2010 first tournament day from 9:00 to 22:00
Friday 16th July l 2010 second tournament day from 9:00 to 21:00
Saturday 17th July 2010 third tournament day from 9:00 to 19:00

Format:
Tournament for recreational teams from all over the world.
All teams will be divided (by drawing) into four groups (4 teams in each group).
Playing time will be three periods by 15 minutes (running time) per game.
GUARANTEED AT LEAST FIVE TO SIX GAMES FOR EVERY TEAM!!
Tournament schedule will be fixed after registration deadline.
Rules:
The tournament will be played without body contact but with slap shots.
There is no regulation about the strength of the players.
It's a tournament for FAIRNESS on and off the ice!!

TOURNAMENT FEES

1175.- EUR per team

The entry fee comprised:

  • – Tournament Organisation (Ice, bench and rink staff, etc.).
  • – Guaranteed at least five to six tournament games with three 15 minutes periods.
  • – Trophies for Position, Best Player, Best Goalie, Best Forward, Best Defensman.
  • – Two referees per game.
  • – Own locker room during tournament for each team.
  • – Some other activities still under planning.

140.- EUR per player or escort

The player's fee comprised:

  • – Four nights with breakfast.
  • – All transportation form hotel to ice rink, pickup/ drop off teams on arrival/departure.
  • – Tournament conclusion banquet with buffet and award ceremony.

IMPORTANT NOTE

All teams should have valid sport insurance for each player for the whole tournament. The players insurance is not provided by the organizer, each team should take responsibility for obtaining such sport insurance. It's your own risk to play without it.
